I love face scrubs. I keep one in the shower, always. I don't like scrubs with big beads, either. Those things aren't gonna exfoliate diddly. Gimme microscopic pore-sized rocks. Make me FEEL like it's working. I want the illusion of makin' out with an electric sander without the bloody skin trauma. The best scrub I've found is this.
L'Oreal makes one too. But the Life Brand one (@ Pharmaprix) is exactly the same. And a few bucks cheaper. I just wish they sold the scrub separately, cuz I'm not a big fan of the moisturizer. You must replenish your skin after you assault it, so I guess they're just covering their bases. I find the face cream too heavy though. And it doesn't contain SPF. Corn dips his fries in it however, so at least it's not going to waste.
But I always run out of scrub before I run out of cream (why does that sound perverted?). Just like how I always run out of shampoo before conditioner. And out of peanut butter before jam (you outta see THAT in the shower!).
But I digress. The scrub is great! Immediate results. Your face really feels smoothed out. Plus every now and then you crunch down on a mini-rock that's found it's way into your teefs. And who doesn't like that?
It's called a microdermabrasion kit. Stupid name. It makes it sound too high-tech - like it's supposed to include lasers or something.
Let's call a spade a spade. It's mini-rocks and mayonnaise. Ask for it by name.

Don't feel bad N@... a lot of others have that problem too... just think of things like baseball, mother-in-laws and brazilian wax.
I buy this amazing shampoo & conditioner combo from my hairdresser who's husband works @ KMS and she suggested I use a little bit of the conditioner on my face while in the shower suppossedly it feels amazing and SHE was so right... It really tingles (actually makes your face feel like its on fire - but a good kind of fire).
AAAAAH the simple things in life give us such pleasure.
Mmmmmmmmmmm... mini-rocks and mayonnaise. But it hurts when the rocks explode on your tongue and hit the roof of your mouth.
Bobby,
Don't even try to understand it... its a woman thing!
I love scrubs too and keep one in the shower . Now I have to try N@'s brand and see if it scrubs as good as my old one ..let's hope I do not become a scrubaholic .
I shower with my clothes on because it's a great way to do my laundry at the same time - and I don't want my rubby duckies to see me naked.
(Hmmm... I wish I was kidding about that...)
posting... problems - anyone else having them. I can not post anything on NGB site.
I like to use the exfoliating scrub from St. Ives--the one for normal skin. Sensitive skin just has less scrubby things, and it doesn't feel like you're exfoliating anything. Apparently they make it from Apricots. :)
