Aw, man. Can't even remember the last time I posted, sitting next to an open window. It's so nice to get some fresh air up in this mutha. It's so nice to bring ratdawgs outside and not have them dig their claws into the ground to defy a walk through snow. Instead they trot jauntily along - sniffing poo and tagging fire hydrants.
We still have some snow left. Dirty, blackened pockets of disgusting snow. A filthy reminder of the horribly long and cruel winter we had this year. So, you can't blame people for wanting it gone. I saw a dude shoveling his snow onto the sidewalk today. Git outta muh yard, varmint.
And apparently, the city is urging people to please not water their snow. People are melting their snowpiles by setting sprinklers on top of them. It's a waste of water, says the city. And if you do it we'll give you a $150 fine. Which doesn't REALLY makes sense to me because technically if I'm watering a snowbank, I'm watering, well, frozen water. Which becomes liquid. So, I'm MAKING more water. See?
But water costs money, says the city. So don't use it. The only hosing that should be going on is when we send you your municipal tax bill.
Now, it makes sense.

Yeah. What la Ville de Montréal said. Plus they say that it costs money to TREAT the water, and put chlorine and fluoride and whatever else in it. Ya wanna kill your lawn with that crap?
What is with this water fixation you have?
