Kennebunkport, Maine: Part One

By popular demand....okay, by popular demand of my friends Val and Mike. Some shots from our trip to Kennebunkport, Maine.

First of all, we stayed at a KICK ASS place called Cabot Cove Cottages. They are kind of a B&B without the aggravating being-in-someone's-home side of things. And the awkward having-to-share-bathrooms-and-dining-spaces-with-strangers-I-don't-want-to-talk-to side of things too. You catch my drift. No, I am not a B&B kinda gal.

At Cabot Cove - you have your very own cottage, complete with all the fixin's. Everything from dishware to utensils, toasters, goats, hairdryers - you name it.

We stayed in 'Sweet Dreams'. Here she is:

Pretty tiny right? But check out her guts!

K, I'm sort of lying because this was taken with a wide angle lens. But you catch the drift. The interior was decorated amazingly. Really detailed touches to make you feel like you are by the sea!

Weirdos in mirror = professional.

toilet seat up for pic = all class.

BEST. NAME. FOR. T.P. EVER.

Torque: The moment of a force. Advanced: Highly developed or complex.

I don't know what kinda poops people are taking there in Maine, but they seem to really require extra special care.

Here are some pics of the grounds:

The dock with kayaks you can use if it strikes yer fancy:

Every morning at 8:30 sharp, they leave a 'breakfast bag' on your door - with a note about things you can do on that day!

We loved our little pad so much, we spent some time on our front porch. I call this one "you kids git offa my lawn":

This is some $2 cheese we bought at a little store. FYI: "$2 Cheese" was also my stripper name. I wasn't that popular, as exemplified by the below photo:

And with that - the end of the Cabot Cove pics. I'll have more Maine pics in my next post!
