Update

As a fan of Lost, I can't tell you how THRILLED I am that the show is actually good again (after the absolute WORST episode on record a while back - the one with Bai Ling. Pee-yook)! I stayed up way past my bedtime to watch the new episode at 10pm. And it didn't disappoint.

YAY! Keep doin' what yer doin' Lost writer peeps.

Been AFK (does anyone use this anymore?) - for a while because I'm trying to write the countdown show before Pay gets here tonite (9pm). Been on the go go go this week. And I haven't worked out at all this week which makes me feel absolutely SHITTY. Physically, like crap. I've figured out, I need to sweat. Or all those toxins stay inside and turn me in Psycho Sally. But passive agressive Psycho Sally, subtly trying to trip people and/or blow burp breath in their direction.

Anyhoo - this place'll be postless til Sunday, probably. So - have a great weekend!!

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

I missed LOST last night! (Was at cirque du Soleil) Well, we actually caught the last 10 mins....

Does anyone know a great FREE (please people, free means I don't need to supply a Credit Card Number) website I can download LOST or any other interesting TV shows? I've tried viewing LOST and other shows that are available from their networks on-line, but it seems on the ABC site you can only view if you are in the US. Knobs!

So if anyone has a good suggestion...

N@... have a good weekend ... We already miss you!

Are you sure you can only view on ABC if you're in the states?

YUP!

I've tried watching LOST and Dancing... and a few others... I think they track your routing to them and they only allow viewing from those in the US

... or is this just me?

...am I the only one?!

...why would ABC not like me? I stuck with them all through NBC's 'must See TV' and this is how they re-pay me?!?

I'll check out your tip tonight N@. Thanks! What did I ever do before you?

Yup. You have to be in the US in order to view those shows... NBC, CBS, FOX etc... all have similar filters in place.

The reason: they sold the Canadian rights to someone else (CTV, Global, A Channel etc...) so they could be in violation of some rights agreements if they didn't block you.

There are a variety of sites out there that will allow you to hide your IP address though... just be careful with them... if they're sneaking you in, what are they sneaking past you in return.

Nat, I'm with you - Lost is finally picking up steam over the last three or so eps. Great preview of Locke asking Sawyer - uh, what he asked him to do - for next week, too!

...and please tell Pay I still see her occasionally on Treehouse TV reciting silly poems for kids on Four Square. I tell the twins, "It's Nat's friend, Pay!" when she comes on. It looks like it must have been a fun experience. (unless, of course, she hates children, because then it would have been Hell.)

...and Misster K., I taped last night's episode of Lost. See, we have to tape everything. We have twins who control our every move, and can only watch what we want to watch on TV when they say it's okay. Otherwise, they've got us watching that damn Pay on Treehouse. (Don't tell Nat I said that.) If you can't find Lost anywhere else (can't find Lost! Ha! See what I did there?), and you desperately want to see it, I can mail you the videocassette, if you still have a VCR.

p.s. I still have every VCR I've ever owned, including a BETA. Bit of an old-technology packrat, I guess.

Thanks JB... If we can't find it on-line we've got a friend (locally) that taped it... Not that this makes it completely easy... we gots no VCR! (I know!) After missing both Dancing with the Stars AND Lost! this week, I'm thinking I need to go out and get one... again.

Also my parents can double 'one - up' you on the technology yesteryear. They still have and use BOTH of the following:
- 8-track
- 78 RPM albums
